Real Madrid want to bring David Beckham back to Spain - with his LA Galaxy - to contest the Bernabeu Trophy.

AS says Real supremo Jose Angel Sanchez has spoken at length with Galaxy officials about the game - which will be staged on December 5 at the Santiago Bernabeu.

If a deal cannot be struck, Real will turn to Roberto Carlos' Fenerbahce. Like Beckham, the return of Roberto Carlos would guarantee a sell-out for Real on the night.
