After clinching the Bosman signing of Javier Saviola, Real are now planning a controversial bid for Barca midfield schemer Andres Iniesta, says Marca.

Real are moving for Iniesta after being turned down by Arsenal's Cesc Fabregas and it's understood the midfielder welcomes their interest. Iniesta is one of the poorest paid players in Barca's squad and pleas for a contract upgrade have so far fallen on deaf ears.

Iniesta's buyout clause is set at £40 million.
