Chelsea are being encouraged to bid for Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Higuain. Sport says Real president Florentino Perez is prepared to sell Higuain to Blues owner Roman Abramovich for £40 million.
Florentino wants to sell the Argentine to help fund a shock bid for Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney.
