Real Madrid's medical chief Jesus Olmo has swung the axe on his staff since the end of last season.
Despite being at odds with the playing staff, Olmo has retained his job at Real and overseen a massive overhaul of staff.
Six members of last season's medical team have been axed, including four physios.
At the request of Real coach Rafa Benitez, physios Vitor Pimenta and Felix Fernandez have been hired. Two doctors, Ximo Mas and Mikel Aramberri, have also been added.
It's suggested the surgeons have been hired as the players now refuse to see Olmo for their complaints, reports AS.
