Real Madrid are ready to hand Daniel Carvajal a new deal.

The fullback has seen off competition from Danilo to establish himself as a first-choice for coach Zinedine Zidane.

Carvajal is tied to Real until 2020, but there are plans to further extend the agreement, says Marca.

The defender has won over even Real president Florentino Perez, who spent a record fee to bring Danilo to the club from Porto.

Real are now ready to discuss an improved deal for Carvajal.
