Real Madrid are willing to commit £130 million towards prising Gareth Bale away from Tottenham. The Sun says reports in Spain suggest Madrid have a six-year £51m WAGE deal agreed in principle with Tottenham's Bale.

And that will come on top of the monster £80m transfer fee they will have to pay for the winger.

But Spurs boss Andre Villas-Boas insisted he will fight to keep his prized asset - even though that £80m fee would match the world record Real paid to Manchester United for Cristiano Ronaldo in 2009.

AVB said: "I want to repeat what I was telling you last season and at the start of the summer.

"He is a Tottenham player, one of the most fantastic players in the world and we are counting on him for the future."
