PSG midfielder Marco Verratti remains on the radar of Real Madrid.
Despite the sacking of Carlo Ancelotti, who had championed Verratti's signing to Real president Florentino Perez, their interest remains.
Verratti is the primary target for Real Madrid to bolster the midfield, an area in which the team suffered last season due to injuries to Luka Modric, Sami Khedira and James Rodríguez.
Last summer, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, Real offered PSG €40 million and Verratti a salary of €20 million over four seasons, but the offer was rebuffed.
