Real Madrid have warned Everton and Manchester City off midfielder Guti.
The Daily Mail says the Barclays Premier League clubs, along with Galatasaray, have reportedly enquired about the Bernabeu vice-captain.
But despite Madrid's desperation to offload players, neither head coach Manuel Pellegrini or director general Jorge Valdano are prepared to sanction Guti's departure.
The 32-year-old has, however, indicated his intention to play in the English league once his current contract runs out in 2011.
His preferred destination would be Arsenal, though it is hard to imagine Arsene Wenger signing a 34-year-old.
