Jose Antonio Reyes has held talks with Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger over his move to Real Madrid.

Marca says Reyes is pleading with Wenger to drop his asking price, with the Gunners seeking £15 million for his transfer.

The Spain international met with Wenger yesterday, along with his agent Rodriguez de Moya, who said: "If everything runs it's logical course, Reyes will be a Madrid player next season. He doesn't want to return to London."

Real president Ramon Calderon is reluctant to pay more than £5 million for Reyes.
