Real Madrid are monitoring the developing situation of Santos starlet Neymar.

The 16 year-old attacking midfielder has just seen 40 per cent of his registration sold to a consortium of local businessmen. Santos hold a majority 60 per cent stake and his new deal carries an £18 million buyout clause.
