Luis Filipe is in line to play again for Deportivo La Coruna this season.

The flying left-back suffered a horror ankle injury in January, but has returned to training this week.

For 15 minutes yesterday, Filipe worked the ball with his injured ankle and felt not ill-effects. Depor doctors later said: "The ankle has responded beautifully."

Depor hope Filipe can make a Primera return for the first week of May. The Brazilian remains on the shopping list of Real Madrid and was visited by club chiefs Florentino Perez and Jorge Valdano just days after suffering the injury.
