Real Madrid taking close look at Chelsea's Cech

Real Madrid are showing considerable interest in Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech according to reports.

The Telegraph suggests that Carlo Ancelotti is seeking a possible replacement for the struggling Iker Casillas and could look to bring Cech to the Santiago Bernabeu in January.

The 32-year old Czech Republic international is currently Chelsea's number two after losing his place in the first team to talented Belgian gloveman Thibaut Courtois and has made it clear that he wants to be playing first team football.

Spain international Casillas' form of late has not been at the level he has set for so long which could force Ancelotti into the transfer market in the winter.

Cech is likely to become available after saying that he is not happy with the situation at Stamford Bridge where he has basically been number one since arriving from Rennes in 2004.

"I have not spoken to anyone, but I think they know me well enough at the club to know that the situation is definitely not the way I would imagine," Cech said.

"With the Euros [in 2016] and the national team in mind, there is no time for me to sit on the bench and not to play. If the situation will not start to improve for me, then I will want to solve it."
