Real Madrid have offered Cristiano Ronaldo a new three-year contract this week.

Punto Pelota says Real president Florentino Perez has tabled a new deal to Ronaldo's minders through to 2018 and those close to negotiations are convinced he'll put pen to paper this month.

Perez has refused to cave into Ronaldo's demands of a greater share of image rights, but the terms offered are an improvement on the attacker's current wages.
