Real Madrid superstar Ronaldo again indicates MLS possibility

Cristiano Ronaldo has re-iterated his desire to play Major League Soccer later in his career.

The 30-year-old Real Madrid star has previously indicated the possibility of potentially making a move to the USA and Canada's top flight once his time in Europe is up and recently told GQ Magazine that we could indeed see him there in the coming years.

Ronaldo admits MLS is an intriguing competition and has hinted that he may follow such players as David Beckham, Steven Gerrard, Frank Lampard, Kaka, David Villa and Andrea Pirlo to North America.

"What's happening there is great, it's fantastic," said the Portugal international.

"Maybe in the future will be a good chance for me to play there. You never know, but it's something interesting.

"I consider it, of course, because, as I've said, soccer there has become better and better, so why not? I think that this is maybe going to be possible.

"I know that many players move there. I think it's becoming better and better.

"It's growing, I think it's good. It's good for me and young players that maybe one day we want to move there. So it's good that football - 'soccer' - grows there."
