Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez has been caught up in a Mexican political row.

On-loan at Real Madrid, Chicharito says the Mexican Green Party has been using his image without permission during the ongoing election campaign in the Mexican city of Cuernacava.

"To be clear, they're using my image without permission on fliers that they're handing out in Cuernacava," said the Real Madrid forward on Twitter last night.

It's reported the Green Party's campaign is a response to a campaign run by former Mexican international and current Social Democrat candidate Cuauhtémoc Blanco.
