Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema is delighted to have reached the Champions League final.
Benzema admits he joined Real to play in such games.
"I signed to earn this title and really hope we get it. We won by four goals and are happy with the result. We all defended together and were ready for the counter-attack. The third goal was fantastic," he said.
Benzema also had sympathy for Xabi Alonso, who will miss the final through suspension: "It's sad. I'm really sorry for him, but we'll win it to dedicate it to him, too."
