Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo was angry with one Portuguese reporter yesterday asking him about a row with a local fan. A fan chanted 'Messi! Messi!' at Ronaldo after failing to get the Portugal captain's autograph.

Ronaldo was asked if the incident would force him to rethink his commitment to his country, which angered the former Manchester United star.

"If you're going to ask me a question, be smarter about it ... for the love of God ... don't ask me about a comment from one fan," snapped Ronaldo.

"I have played 10 years with the national team and an isolated comment will not tarnish my commitment. It's an honor for me to represent my country and to wear this shirt. When I'm here I feel like I am with my family."
