Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo insists there's no need to panic after their draw with Malaga.

Real are now eight points clear of Barcelona at the top of the table following the 1-1 result.

"We still have an eight point lead and there's nothing to worry about because the league is far from over," Ronaldo said.

"Malaga are a good side, hard to play against, but we didn't expect this result. That's football for you.

"We were unlucky to concede the equaliser in injury time after dominating the whole match, but we're calm about it. We suffer when we don't score.

"The referee seemed scared to make some calls, but I don't want to judge him because he tried to do his best."
