Ronaldo hopes the award is handed out 'fairly' after his successful past season.

He told ESPN: "I think that is should be fairly awarded, nothing else. Naturally, I would like to win it again. I would be lying if I said otherwise. I have my opinion, but I know whatever I say will always be misunderstood. I have to live with this."
