Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo's new hotel purchase has been done in partnership with Donald Trump.

Ronaldo has purchased a hotel in a very luxurious district in Monte Carlo - for a price mooted to be €140 million.

Marca says his new Monte Carlo venture also includes US presidency candidate Trump and Alessandro Proto under the name Proto Group.

Ronaldo's impressive portfolio already includes a €16 million apartment in New York's Trump Tower and a mansion in Cheshire worth €6 million, amongst other assets.
