Real Madrid star Ronaldo: My best birthday present would be to play Espanyol

Real Madrid wing ace Cristiano Ronaldo is celebrating his 25th birthday.

Ronaldo's family and agent Jorge Mendes are in Madrid to wish Ronaldo well. Among many gifts, the Portuguese is also hoping to have the second match of his suspension dropped at an appeals hearing.

The former Manchester United star wants to play against Espanyol tomorrow and said: "The best gift I could is that I'm allowed to play against Espanyol."

Ronaldo missed last week's historic win at Deportivo La Coruna as part of his two-match ban.
