Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo has no regrets leaving Manchester United last summer. Ronaldo scored 26 goals in his first season in the Primera Liga as Real finished runners-up to Barcelona.

He said: "I felt very sad and frustrated by last season because we did not win any competition but I'm sure next year under Jose Mourinho will be different.

"I'm not sorry to have swapped Manchester for Madrid though I confess to missing the city where for six years I grew, matured and was very happy."
