Marca says talks with president Florentino Perez after Real Madrid's LaLiga game with Real Sociedad last weekend has settled Ronaldo's mind, the winger having been enduring an edgy relationship with the club faithful lately.

The 69-year-old often comes to the dressing room after home games and Sunday saw him hold a positive discussion with the forward at a key moment.

Indeed, the player does recognise that he is punished by some supporters when things don't go to plan but he fails to understand why he is occasionally targeted.

Problematic for Real is the jeers visibly anger Ronaldo, who shows little interest in hiding his emotions while he attempts to guide the club to titles on multiple fronts.
