Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has had a GALAXY named after him!
The European Space Observatory has announced "the brightest galaxy ever observed at this stage in the universe" will be called CR7 in the former Manchester United ace's honour.
Astronomer David Sobral, who is affiliated with the University of Lisbon in Ronaldo's home country, says naming their discovery CR7 is a tribute to his countryman.
The newly discovered galaxy is a major breakthrough for the European Space Observatory who believe it once contained a 'lost generation of monster stars' which could have been hundreds or thousands of times as massive as the sun.
