Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo is looking forward to facing Liverpool in the Champions League.
The former Manchester United star claimed the Anfield outfit only won 5-0 the last time the teams met because he hadn't signed for the Spanish giants at that stage.
They faced each other in the 2008-09 season when Liverpool followed up a 4-0 win at Anfield with a 1-0 victory in the Bernabeu to book a quarter-final place.
But Ronaldo said: "5-0? I was not there. It's different.
"Every game has a different story. This year will be different so we are a different team, different coach.
"Liverpool are different too, so let's see who's going to be the best.
"It will be nice for me to face Liverpool. I've never played there since I came to Real Madrid. It's going to be the first time and I'm looking forward to it. I know Liverpool is a very difficult stadium.
"But we are Real Madrid. In general the group is nice and it's going to be good for Real Madrid."
