Real Madrid star Ronaldo: El Clasico not decisive in title race

Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo says Monday's clash at Barcelona will not be decisive in the title race. Real are unbeaten in all competitions so far this season and defeated Ajax 4-0 in Amsterdam in the Champions League on Tuesday evening, and Ronaldo is confident that they can get a result in Barcelona.

"Although it's an important match for both teams, it's just another match," Ronaldo is quoted as saying by Madrid's official website. "We are one point ahead of them and it will be a tough road game, but I am confident we will earn a positive result. It's not a final. There are still many games to be played."

However, Ronaldo knows that Barcelona are a tough proposition in front of the Camp Nou faithful.

"They are a difficult team to beat. It's the same team as in recent years and they are especially strong at home. They have shown that they are right in the hunt with us for the league title.

"We are working hard and doing well. We know that we are in good shape, which is why it will be a good match."
