Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo moved further up the La Liga goalscoring charts with his goal against Eibar.
Ronaldo continues to climb further up La Liga's list of all-time top scorers and currently occupies third place, with 235 goals to his name. His finish against Éibar saw him surpass the 234 notched up by Hugo Sánchez during his spells with Atlético, Real Madrid and Rayo Vallecano.
Ronaldo is now into his seventh La Liga campaign and he has been hitting the target with spectacular regularity during that time, notched up 1.1 goals per game on average.
This is the most impressive average of any of the other players who make up the rest of the all-time top five scorers, with him outdoing Lionel Messi and Zarra (0.9 goals per game), Hugo Sánchez (0.6) and Raúl (0.4).
