Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo has taken to social media to hit out at latest reports.
A story reported by El Mundo claimed that the Tax Agency were pushing for criminal proceedings against Los Blancos' leading goal-scorer and they'd rejected any offer of a settlement.
In a post on his official Instagram page, the 33-year-old responded: "don't try to spoil the beautiful moment I'm living through with fake news."
Marca reports this refers to the unsettled tax evasion case that is hanging over Ronaldo's head, where it is alleged that the former Manchester United forward fraudulently kept 14.7 million euros.
