Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo has splashed out on an exclusive property in Monaco.

Ronaldo has bought a hotel in the most exclusive area of Monte Carlo for €140 million to add to the real estate portfolio.

According to British company, The Proto Group, the deal to purchase the Monaco property was completed last week and is a collaboration between the real estate agent, owned by Italian Alessandro Proto, and America's Donald Trump.

Proto also sold Cristiano Ronaldo a loft apartment in New York's Trump Tower back in August 2015, at a cost of around 16 million.
