Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo has broken another goalscoring record.

With his 70th goal in 136 international appearances, Ronaldo led Portugal to a confident 3-0 victory over Hungary, the very opponent that he scored a brace against in Euro 2016 to force a draw and keep their hopes alive.

No active player has more goals than the Real Madrid star, and Miroslav Klose (71), Sandor Kocsis (75) and Ferenc Puskas (84) are the only European players with more than Cristiano Ronaldo on the all-time international list.

Ronaldo also leads the way across all the different confederations with nine World Cup qualifying goals thus far, as Russia and the Confderations Cup beckon for the recent Euro winners.
