Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo is demanding he be the best paid in the world.

Ronaldo only penned a new deal to 2021 just over 12 months ago, but is unhappy seeing PSG attacker Neymar and Barcelona star Leo Messi surpass him on the pay-scale.

Since signing his contract, Ronaldo has twice won the Ballon d'Or, twice won the Champions League, twice won the Club World Cup and the LaLiga title. For all those achievements, Ronaldo is adamant he deserves to be the highest paid in the game.

However, Marca says Real president Florentino Perez has no interest in renegotiating the player's contract.

Coach Zinedine Zidane has personally requested Perez to reconsider his stand, but for the moment the president insists Ronaldo is only delivering on what was agreed back in November 2016.
