Liverpool midfielder Joe Allen is confident that the return of Real Madrid's Gareth Bale and Arsenal's Aaron Ramsey to full fitness will provide a massive boost to the Wales national team ahead of the Euro Championships.

Both players were not part of the Wales squad during the international break as the Dragons managed to draw against Northern Ireland and succumbed to defeat against Ukraine but Allen feels the side's two most influential players will provide a major positive for Euro2016.

"The bonus for us of course is that we have Gareth Bale and Aaron Ramsey to come back. Any international team would miss players of that quality," he said.

"To have the chance to welcome them back into the group is a massive bonus for us. It is going to help to bring the real best out of the team.

"A big message for us between now and then is to learn from our mistakes - including the soft goal in this game - and learn from them.

"We do not want to go into the tournament making those kinds of sloppy mistakes and Gareth and Aaron will help us get it right."
