Real Madrid and Tottenham officials are angry with Florentino Perez over his pursuit of Gareth Bale. The Sunday Express says it's believed Real president Perez has reneged on an agreement hatched between the clubs which would see Bale remain at Spurs for another season with no bids from the Bernabeu until next summer.

But Perez, aware of forthcoming presidential elections, is flouting the agreement, determined to bag himself a vote-winning Galactico.

He is also determined to tie Cristiano Ronaldo down to a new contract.
