Real Madrid captain Raul was pleased to deliver a Champions League victory to new boss Juande Ramos last night.

Raul struck twice in the 3-0 triumph over Zenit St Petersburg and remarked afterwards: "It was important to win for the spirit at the club. We've only had a couple of days working with the new coach and are trying to get used to his ideas as soon as possible.

"For the circumstances, the coach made changes looking for a team that offers the best performance. These days we can work with more calm in mind for Saturday. We are going to go to Barcelona and give our all."
