Real Madrid skipper Iker Casillas is urging fans not to get carried away with their Liga leadership.

With Barcelona having won the title in each of the last three seasons, it is a tantalising position for Madrid to find themselves in.

But Casillas sounded a note of caution when he told realmadrid.com: "We're doing a great job and must continue to do so.

"We have great objectives, but we must focus on short-term goals and on one game at a time."
