Real Madrid captain Iker Casillas has avoided serious injury after being forced off during their Champions League win at Galatasaray.

Scans on his rib injury show no serious damage and the goalkeeper is expected to miss less than a week of training.

"It's just a knock. Everything's fine. Now I must recover," said Casillas yesterday.
