Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane remains eager to tempt Eden Hazard from Chelsea next year.
While a January move is a long shot, a deal over the summer is on the agenda for Zidane and Real president Florentino Perez.
Indeed, so much so, reports Diario Gol, that Real will seek to take the No10 shirt from Luka Modric and offer it to Hazard as part of negotiations.
The news has already made it's way to the Real locker room - via Cristiano Ronaldo.
It's suggested Ronaldo has caught wind of the plans and relayed them to Modric, with the Croatian one of his closest friends at Real.
For the moment, Modric has taken the news with a grain of salt, though is aware of growing local press speculation over his status in Madrid.
