Real Madrid want to re-sign Chelsea fullback Marcos Alonso.

The Daily Star says Alonso is interesting Real ahead of the European transfer deadline at the end of the month.

The Spaniard was virtually an ever-present under former Blues boss Antonio Conte.

And he turned in another excellent display in Chelsea's 3-0 win over Huddersfield that would have impressed the European champions.

Alonso, who was unfortunate to miss out on a place in Spain's World Cup squad, is now reportedly on Los Blancos boss Julen Lopetegui's hit list.
