Real Madrid are chasing Cruzeiro midfielder Lucas Silva.Marca says Real see the youngster as an ideal replacement for wantaway midfielder Sami Khedira.
Manchester United and Barcelona have also been linked with Lucas Silva this season.
He is a key asset for his current Cruzeiro side, which is currently heading up the Brasileirao league table.
And Real have now identified him as the ideal successor to Khedira, who comes off contract in June.
