Real Madrid scouts recommend Hernanes to Valdano

Real Madrid are taking a close look at Sao Paulo midfielder Hernanes.

Marca says Real scouts have recommended Hernanes to GM Jorge Valdano in the event he agrees to sell Fernando Gago to Manchester City before next week's transfer deadline.

The 24 year-old would be free to play in the Champions League and carries a price-tag of £10 million.

Inter Milan boss Jose Mourinho confirmed his admiration for Hernanes only yesterday.
