Real Madrid have axed Alberto Toril as Castilla coach following their thrashing by Eibar on the weekend.
A club statement read:
"Real Madrid Football Club wish to inform that Alberto Toril is no longer the coach of Real Madrid Castilla.
"The club has offered Alberto Toril the option of continuing to work for the club in his role as Director of Training at the Real Madrid Academy.
"José Manuel Díaz, who until now has coached Real Madrid C, will take over as coach of Real Madrid Castilla."
