Real Madrid’s Ronaldo on comeback: I’m starting from scratch

Real Madrid ace Cristiano Ronaldo was pleased with his cameo in their Champions League victory over FC Zurich.

Ronaldo made his first appearance in two months as a second-half substitute in Real's 1-0 win.

"I'm tired because I am not yet at 100 per cent. In fact, I'm almost starting from scratch but I'm sure I'll get back to the shape I was in pre-injury, scoring goals, playing good matches and helping the team," smiled Ronaldo.

"I have received a very good welcome from the fans and now my aim is to repay them by giving the best of myself. I want to play the Clasico if I feel good, but that is the responsibility of the coach.

"In any event, with or without me, the team is first in the league and in the Champions League group."
