Real Madrid’s Kaka emerges as Galatasaray target

Turkish club Galatasaray have confirmed that they will pursue Real Madrid’s Kaka provided they progress in the Champions League.

The Istanbul-based outfit are in with Manchester United, CFR Cluj and Braga in Group H of Europe’s premier club competition and if they can reach the knockout stages, they will go after Kaka who is out of favour with the Spanish champions.

"Kaka could join us, yes, but at this time I cannot guarantee it," Gala president Aysal Unal said.

"If we negotiate the group stage of the Champions League we will try to get hold of him.

"I think that he would integrate well in our club and we would love to see him wearing the shirt of Galatasaray."
