Real Madrid have been rocked by Pepe's attack on coach Jose Mourinho over the weekend. Pepe took issue with Mourinho's comments on Friday about Iker Casillas and fired back at the coach in multiple interviews after victory over Real Valladolid.
On Friday, Mourinho was asked about Casillas' situation and declared: "The problems exist when a player believes he is above the rest."
Pepe took issue with Mou's words and snapped: "The statements of the coach, from my point of view, have not been the most appropriate. Iker is part of Madrid, is an institution both in Madrid and in Spain.
"He knows the players and the fans are with him."
