Real Madrid are moving ahead of Chelsea in the battle for Inter Milan fullback Douglas Maicon.
Chelsea's deal for Maicon has stalled over the length contract they're willing to offer.
Mediaset says Real are ready to offer the Beneamata around 8m in terms of a transfer fee, while tabling a three-year deal worth 4.5m a term to the player.
