Real Madrid are readying a bid for Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva.

The Manchester Evening News says sources suggest new Real Madrid manager Julen Lopetegui wants the Portuguese international to become his first signing at the club.

The 23-year-old contributed nine goals and nine assists as Pep Guardiola's side became the first team to ever record 100-points in a single English top-flight season.

Silva played more minutes than any other City player last season during their record-breaking title win.

City are understandably reluctant to part with the title-winning forward and it is suggested that have set a minimum price-tag of €80M for his services.
