Real Madrid are ready to move for Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor.
Mediaset says Real coach Jose Mourinho is keen to bring in the former Arsenal star after Gonzalo Higuain underwent back surgery this week.
Adebayor is now expected to be allowed to move on by City following their capture of Wolfsburg striker Edin Dzeko, who was also interesting Mourinho.
Adebayor would jump at the chance of playing for Real and despite a reputation of brawling with teammates, Mourinho knows the player's character and is confident he would fit in easily at Madrid.
