Arsenal hopes of signing Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Higuain have been hit by fresh delays.Marca says there has been no agreement between the two clubs as one of the longest transfer sagas of the summer runs on.

Carlo Ancelotti's arrival as Real boss was thought to be a catalyst for the move but the Spanish newspaper now say Higuain may be more likely to stay at the Bernabeu.

Priced in the region of £23million, it is thought Real have not yet put a fixed fee on Higuain, which could be a stumbling block for Arsene Wenger.
