Real Madrid are still pushing Tottenham to accept a swap offer for Luka Modric. The Daily Mail says Real are confident that, despite interest from Paris St Germain and Premier League sides, the Croatian has already given a firm commitment that he wants to play in Madrid next season and is not interested in going elsewhere.
They accept that Tottenham want £35million but have yet to finalise how to pay it.
Nuri Sahin is not playing and is on £90,000 a week. He has spoken to Malaga and Borussia Dortmund but Real are keen for him to go to Tottenham even on loan and they will pay part of his wages. It's down to AVB if he prefers to push for £20m Joao Moutinho instead.
