Real Madrid have pulled out of talks with Wigan Athletic for winger Luis Antonio Valencia.
Marca says Real have dropped all interest in the Ecuador international after being quoted an asking price of £18 million by the Latics.
Real won't return for Valencia in the summer, so leaving the way clear for Manchester United to swoop for the dynamic winger.
